Is my data safe? ▼

OpenClaw runs on your hardware (not the cloud), and we implement security best practices: DM pairing for secure messaging authentication, allowlists to control which skills can run, sandboxing to isolate processes, encrypted connections, access controls, and audit logging. However, you should know: Cisco has flagged malicious skills on ClawHub, and WIRED documented cases of OpenClaw going rogue. We help you configure appropriate allowlists and monitor activity. Like any powerful tool, it requires responsible use.
